Lwanga Center trip to Alabama
The St. Charles Lwanga Center hosted a trip Oct. 28-31 to Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama, to visit several sites related to African-American heritage and culture, slavery, Civil Rights movement and more. Stops included Clotilda: The Exhibition at Africatown Heritage House, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, the Legacy Museum: From Enslavement to Mass Incarceration, Freedom Monument Sculpture Park and Resurrection Church in Montgomery.
