About Sister Anna Ha Pham: When I was a child, I enjoyed singing and playing the organ in church. Later, when I was about 15 years old, I talked with my parents about living at home and serving God by teaching catechism, singing and choir’s conductor in the Church. However, God’s plan for me was to enter Lovers of the Holy Cross Convent in Phat Diem. In the last 20 years, my vocation life was very arduous, because I was not allowed to live religious life, to become a sister or to stay at the Convent by the Government. Finally, I took my first vows in secret in 1999. After I took my first vows, I became very ill. I continued to pray that God would help me recover and promised to accept whatever plans he had for me. Since my recovery, I have continued to keep my promise, I am happy to live and dedicate my life to the commitment, love, charism and mission of the Lover of the Holy Cross Phat Diem.
