About Sister Mary Jo Schieber: Sister Mary Jo has been volunteering in a variety of ministries since 2012. She enjoys losing herself in a good book, especially about the lives of people who have dealt with adversity and survived. She also enjoys sewing and making crib-sized quilts. About Sister Rebecca Wright: Sister Rebecca embraces the identity and mission of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary through her service to society’s marginalized people and through her earth-friendly practices. Her intense curiosity about her ancestors began in 1980 with a visit to a family graveyard in southern Illinois. She has since published two books of genealogy research on her family, searches that go back four centuries and that portray with historical accuracy the lives, loves, labors and travels of her ancestors. She commented, “Knowing I have always (and still do) give life my all is my satisfaction.”
