The Southern Vicariate will host a panel discussion on “Hope and Healing: Facing the challenge of suicide” from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Sacred Heart Parish, 17742 State Route N in Ozora. The expert panel discussion will cover prevention, suicide-safe homes, therapeutic accompaniment and end-of-life moral issues, including Church teaching on suicide. The same event will also be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at St. Paul Parish, 15 Forest Knoll Drive in Fenton. All are welcome to either event.
