Mass for consecrated life

Sister Amanda Marie Detry, a Daughter of St. Paul, read at the annual Mass for the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life Feb. 2 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. About 100 priests, brothers and sisters, lay associates and a consecrated virgin from 22 communities were represented at the Mass. The archdiocesan Office of Consecrated Life reminds the faithful to pray for all those who have made commitments to consecrated life. St. John Paul II instituted the worldwide day of prayer in 1997.

Jubilee for Artists

Immaculate Heart of Mary in New Melle will host a Jubilee of Artists speaker event and artists’ showcase on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the parish, 8 West Highway D in New Melle. There are two events for the day. The morning event begins with 8 a.m. Mass, followed by a presentation on the Church and beauty by George Capps, president of Goretti Fine Arts. An artists’ showcase featuring displays from local artists will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. In the afternoon, there will be a 4 p.m. vigil Mass followed by the artists’ showcase from 5-6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. This is the first monthly 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope event at Immaculate Heart of Mary, which is also a designated Jubilee Pilgrimage site in the archdiocese. Eucharistic miracles exhibit

The International Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles will be on display Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15 and 16, at St. Peter Parish, 221 First Capitol Drive in St. Charles. The walk-through exhibit includes 126 Vatican-authenticated miracles from around the world. The exhibit will be on display in the parish cafe from 3-7 p.m. Feb. 15 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 16.

Discern with the Daughters of St. Paul

Daughters of St. Paul will host Discernment 101, a series of Saturday morning talks, prayer, and fellowship for single Catholic women ages 16-33 looking to grow in relationship with God and discern His call in their lives. Spring 2025 dates include Feb. 15, March 15, April 12 and May 10 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pauline Books &Media, 9804 Watson Road in Crestwood. Each session includes Mass, a talk, small group discussion, eucharistic adoration and lunch. A Zoom option is available for those unable to attend in person. Retreat for expecting and young fathers

Gabriel’s Retreat Ministries will host its first retreat for expecting and young fathers from Feb. 21-23 at Il Ritiro Retreat Center in Dittmer. Marriage Encounter weekends

The Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience offers married couples the tools needed to help their marriages grow and blossom more beautifully. Little Flower of Nashville

Guest speaker Grace Robinson will visit two parishes in the archdiocese on Saturday, March 8, to share the story of her sister Rosie, the “Little Flower of Nashville.” Rosie died of cancer at age 19; despite her diagnosis, her journey was filled with humor, sports and the love of the Lord. Grace will speak after 8 a.m. Mass at Assumption Church, 4725 Mattis Road in south St. Louis County, and at 1:30 p.m. at Ascension Church, 230 Santa Maria Drive in Chesterfield.
