Webinar for health care workers

The archdiocesan Peace & Justice Commission will host, “The Joy of the Gospel for Those in Health Care,” an evening of reflection, discussion and sharing on the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical, “Evangelii Gaudium,” from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, via Zoom. The webinar will address how health care workers respond to the call to live out the social dimension of evangelization in caring for others. Panelists include Father Michael Rozier, SJ, department chair with Health Management and Policy at Saint Louis University; Nathaniel Hibner, senior director of ethics with the Catholic Health Association; Dr. John Metzler of Washington University; Theresa Curdt, occupational therapist at Mercy Hospital; and Lindsey Kerley, a nurse practitioner at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Lenten revival

The North City Interracial Relations Committee will host a Lenten revival Monday, Feb. 19, through Wednesday, Feb. 21, at St. Alphonsus “Rock” Church, 1118 N. Grand Blvd. in north St. Louis. Father Royce Thomas, CSsR, will be the revivalist. Each evening will begin with praise and worship at 6:15 p.m., with the service beginning at 6:30 p.m. The revival is co-sponsored with the support of the archdiocesan Office of Racial Harmony and the Annual Catholic Appeal. Kenrick-Glennon Days

Registration is now open for Kenrick-Glennon Days, an overnight summer camp that gives grade school boys a chance to experience life at the seminary. Campers will join small groups led by seminarians and experience games, prayers and activities that promote an openness to a priestly vocation. Session One, for boys entering grades six and seven, will be held June 10-12, and Session Two, for boys entering grades eight and nine, will be held June 13-15 at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in Shrewsbury.
