Earth’s Desire: A Silent Guided Retreat on Creation-Centered Spirituality

This 5-day silent retreat is a journey from a human-centered to a creation-centered spirituality presented by Jan Stocking, RSM and Diza Velasco, the co-founders of Rockhaven Ecozoic Center. The sessions will focus on a poem by “geo-logian” Thomas Berry titled “Earth’s Desire” and will provide a reflective look at our relationship with the natural world and the Divine. The daily rhythm will involve a morning session at 9:30 and an afternoon session at 3:00 pm. The days will feature time spent alone as well as time spent together, incorporating a blend of reflective sessions, collective interactive activities, and ample time for rest. Eucharist will be celebrated on Tuesday and Thursday. The cost is $300 for commuters (lunch and supper daily) and $550 for those staying overnight with three meals daily.
