About Sister Ann Francis Monedero: She continues with her ministry at Gabriel Club and joining her Franciscan community in caring for our common home. In between she continues her pottery work, sculptures and thrown items, displaying at Good Shepherd Gallery and selling at local farmers’ markets and with individual commissions. In her pottery studio, she believes “Beauty is a moment in time that must be captured so that the human heart can, in the midst of pain and despair, cling to the notion that that which is capable of bearing beauty is capable of bringing new life…” (Sister Joan Chittister, OSB) She also enjoys knitting a variety of items but especially hats for Siteman Cancer Center in conjunction with a knitting group at St. Joan of Arc.

About Sister Angela Senyszyn: She has many hobbies: reading lawyer books, baking her signature cookies, singing and playing the piano. She appreciated her time as archivist and wrote an abbreviated History of the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. One of her happiest moments was to play the role of “Mother Superior” in the musical “NUNSENSE,” which was a collaborative effort of sisters from other congregations. Sister Angela, a loyal St. Louis Cardinal fan, is grateful to God, her family, her friends and her religious community for her varied and fulfilled life as a Franciscan Sister for over 50 years.
