World Marriage Day

Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski will celebrate a Mass for World Marriage Day at noon Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. All married couples are invited to attend and celebrate the gift of marriage. World Marriage Day honors married couples as the foundation of the family, the basic unit of society. It emphasizes the faithfulness, sacrifice and joy of daily married life. A reception, sponsored by Worldwide Marriage Encounter, will follow in Boland Hall.

Prayer for Christian Unity

The archdiocesan Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs will host the annual Prayer for Christian Unity at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at St. Monica Church, 12140 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur. Christians from local St. Louis communities are invited to gather in prayer for Christian unity and reflect on the Gospel story of Lazarus’ resurrection. Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski will preside and Rev. Father Michael Arbanas of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church will preach. A reception will follow the prayer. Mass of Racial Unity

Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski will celebrate the fourth annual Mass of Racial Unity at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at St. Cletus Church, 2705 Zumbehl Road in St. Charles. Healing after abortion

Men, women and couples wounded by abortion are invited to attend the “Holy Family Hope &Healing Ministry Retreat” March 21-23. Held in a confidential, prayerful setting in St. Louis, the retreat is offered through the Archdiocese of St. Louis’ Abortion Healing Ministry. A trained, compassionate team, including a licensed counselor and priest, will lead participants through the critical steps of healing after abortion. Support Archbishop Carlson Adoption Fund

A raffle to support the Archbishop Robert J. Carlson Adoption Fund is taking place through March 26. The first prize includes use of the Mercy Suite for one St. Louis Cardinals home game during the 2025 season, 20 tickets, buffet (ballpark food and drink) and two parking passes. Second prize includes 10 tickets, buffet and one parking pass. Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100. The drawing will take place March 27. Proceeds benefit the adoption fund, which supports families seeking to adopt a child and is administered by the archdiocesan Office of Natural Family Planning.
