Black Catholic History Month event

The St. Cletus Peace & Justice Ministry and the St. Louis archdiocesan Offices of Racial Harmony and Peace and Justice will host a presentation, “Black Catholic History: The Faith, Struggles, and Resilience of African-American Catholics in St. Louis,” from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at St. Cletus Parish Hall (lower level), 2705 Zumbehl Road in St. Charles. The presenter is author and publisher Winnie Sullivan, a member of St. Francis Xavier “College” Church, who will speak about the lives and contributions of African-American Catholics and others who sought racial equity in the Church.
