Catholics are called to be one Body of Christ, with the richness of various cultures within the Church, says Javier Orozco, director of Hispanic Ministry for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. "The concept of obedience, meaning a deep and attentive listening to the Word of God, is going to be the vehicle that brings together different cultures in the Church."
