About me:

In retirement, Father Toohey celebrated Mass at St. John the Baptist Parish in Villa Ridge before moving to Rodgersville, Mo., in the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese. He has helped as needed at parishes in that diocese, and will do the same at Mercy Villa in Springfield. He has enjoyed hospital chaplaincy work since being assigned as a deacon at Barnes Hospital and continued as a volunteer chaplain during his early assignments before officially being assigned to the chaplaincy.
