About me: 

Deacon Miller and his late wife, Charlotte, had four children. He has 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He considers it a "special privilege" to have served as the "Deacon of the Gospel, to His Holiness St. Pope John Paul Il at his Papal Mass" on Jan. 27, 1999, at the TWA Dome in St, Louis. He served three years, three months in the U.S. Marine Corp, being honorably discharged as a sergeant. Deacon Miller worked 42 years for the grocery chain A&P, starting as a clerk, then serving as store manager, advertising manager, private label manager, national bakery merchandising manager and retiring as Midwest coffee sales manager.
