The Dominican Missionaries for the Deaf Apostolate, a congregation of deaf and hearing priests, brothers and seminarians, celebrated the final religious vows of Brother Adam Zawadzki Aug. 29. Brother Adam made his vows to Father Thomas Coughlin, prior general of the congregation, in the Aquinas Institute of Theology Chapel in Midtown St. Louis.

Brother Adam knelt at the feet of the Prior General, Father Thoma Coughlin, OP Miss, as he professes his final vows in sign language.

Brother Adam professed his final vows in sign language.

Brother Adam laid prostrate on the chapel floor as members of his family and Domincan religious prayed the Litany of Saints.
