Archbishop Carlson receives his pallium from Pope Benedict XVI

Archbishop Robert Carlson was one of 34 archbishops to receive the pallium Monday from Pope Benedict XVI during a Mass at St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican.
The pallium is a woolen stole reserved for archbishops and presented to them by the pope on June 29th, the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul.
