Assistant Principal for Academics - St. John Vianney High School

St. John Vianney High School is seeking an Assistant Principal for Academics to begin with the 2018-2019 school year. St. John Vianney High School is a prestigious, independent, all-boys Catholic, college preparatory school in Kirkwood, MO, and is sponsored by the Society of Mary. Vianney serves over 600 young men in grades 9-12. The Assistant Principal will serve as a key member of the school’s leadership team, particularly focused on our students’ needs in the areas of curriculum and instruction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote a strong Catholic, Marianist charism within all aspects of our school
  • Design and monitor the implementation of professional learning
  • Create and implement a strategy for new faculty development that aligns with best practices
  • Supervise classroom instruction and curriculum development
  • Administer our school’s College Credit, AP, and A+ programs
  • Facilitate the development of the Master Schedule

Master’s Degree in Leadership/Administration and/or school administrator license preferred.
