The Hand Acts Out a Joyous Dance: Celebrating the Art of Bernard Maisner

Event Date:
April 02, 2017

Join us for a panel discussion reflecting on the sources, techniques and inspirations of a contemporary master
of calligraphy and manuscript illumination.

In addition to a presentation by artist Bernard Maisner, Susan L’Engle of Saint Louis University and Ken Botnick of Washington University will lend their expertise, with MOCRA Director Terrence Dempsey, S.J., moderating the conversation.

The program marks the closing day of the MOCRA exhibition Bernard Maisner: The Hourglass and the Spiral, and a closing reception will follow the program. Free parking is available.
