OBITUARY | Sr. Mary Hubert McQuinn, CPPS

A Funeral Mass for Sister Mary Hubert McQuinn, CPPS, was celebrated April 21 at St. Joseph Chapel in O'Fallon. Sister Mary Hubert, 86, died April 17 at Mount Carmel Senior Living in O'Fallon.

Born in Conception, Mo., she entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in 1950 and professed first vows on Aug. 10, 1953. She earned a bachelor's degree in Latin at St. Louis University and a master's degree in theology at St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

Obituary | Sr. Alice Regine Zipfel, CPPS

A funeral Mass for Sister Alice Regine Zipfel was celebrated March 7 at St. Joseph Chapel on the grounds of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in O'Fallon.

Sister Alice Regine, 86, died March 3. A St. Louis native, Sister Alice Regine entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in 1949 and professed her first vows in 1952. She earned a bachelor's degree in English at Fontbonne College and a masters' degree in early childhood education at Oklahoma City University. She also held a license in the Montessori method.

Obituary | Sr. Sheila Prendeville, CPPS

A funeral Mass for Sister Sheila Prendeville will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in St. Joseph Chapel of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood, 204 N. Main St. in O'Fallon. A wake will precede the Mass at 10 a.m.

Sister Sheila, 72, died Jan. 8.

Born in St. Louis, she entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood community in 1963 just months after graduating from Bishop DuBourg High School. When she became a novice, she was given the name Sister John Marie.

OBITUARY | Sr. Teresa Reichmuth, CPPS

A memorial Mass for Sister Teresa Reichmuth was celebrated Jan. 3 at St. Joseph Chapel in O'Fallon. Sister Teresa, a Sister of the Most Precious Blood of O'Fallon, died Dec. 24. She was 79.

The second of six daughters of Joseph and Othelia Reichmuth, Sister Teresa was born in 1938. She entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood as a postulant in 1953 at the age of 15 and professed first vows in 1956. She was given the name Sister Mary Meinrad.

Sr. Mary Judith Orf, CPPS

The funeral Mass for Sister Mary Judith Orf, CPPS, was held April 24 in St. Joseph Chapel at the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood motherhouse in O'Fallon. Sister Mary Judith died April 20 at Mount Carmel Senior Living in O'Fallon. She was 91.

Born on Sept. 7, 1925, in Flint Hill, Sister Mary Judith was the eighth of Alphonse and Elizabeth Orf's eleven children. She entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in 1944 and professed vows in 1947. She was to celebrate the 70th anniversary of her profession on June 4.

Obituary | Sr. Elizabeth Weiman, CPPS

A funeral Mass for Sister Elizabeth Weiman was celebrated May 13 at St. Joseph Chapel of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in O'Fallon.

Sister Elizabeth, 94, died May 6. A retired educator and parish staff member, she would have celebrated her 75th jubilee as a Sister of the Most Precious Blood on May 15.
