A memorial Mass for Sister Elizabeth Klutho was celebrated June 2 in the School Sisters of Notre Dame Theresa Center chapel in south St. Louis County.

Sister Elizabeth died May 29 at Anna House in Bridgeton. She was 83 and a retired teacher.

Born in Breese, Ill., Sister Elizabeth entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1956. She professed first vows in 1958 and final vows in 1964.

She earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 1960 from the former Notre Dame College in St. Louis and a master's degree in business education in 1971 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark.

A memorial Mass for Sister Mary Angelita Terrio, FSM, will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, in the chapel at The Sarah Community in Bridgeton. Sister Angelita died June 12 at The Sarah Community. A Franciscan Sister of Mary for more than 72 years, she was 87.

Born Adele Bernardine Terrio on August 2, 1929, in St. Charles, she entered the Sisters of St. Mary on August 4, 1944. She received the name Sr. Mary Angelita, and she professed final vows September 29, 1950. She completed a bachelor's in nursing from St. Louis University in 1954.

A funeral Mass for Msgr. Charles J. Forst will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, at St. Mark Church, 8300 Morganford Road in Affton.

Msgr. Forst, the longest tenured priest of the archdiocese, died June 13 at age 95.

Msgr. Forst was ordained in 1945 and was the last surviving priest to be ordained by Cardinal John J. Glennon. He was known as a humble, gracious and enthusiastic man who was a model of service into his mid-90s. He served in retirement at Most Precious Blood Parish in south St. Louis County and at St. Mark from 1996 until a recent illness.

Sister Ruth, 94, died June 1 at Nazareth after a heart attack. She served in elementary education for 52 of her 75 years of ministry.

OBITUARY | Sister Loretta Luecke

A funeral Mass for Sister Loretta Luecke was celebrated June 3 at the chapel of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood motherhouse in O'Fallon. Sister Loretta died May 22 in Anchorage, Alaska. She was 82 and a member of the Precious Blood sisters for 61 years.

Born in New Haven, Sister Loretta entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood as a postulant in 1952; she made her first profession of vows in 1955 and her final vows in 1958. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1971 from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Neb.
