Annual Mass for married couples seeks participants

Married couples wishing to participate in the Golden and Silver Wedding Jubilee Mass have until Friday, Sept. 15, to submit their names.

The Mass — for couples marking their 25th, 50th and beyond wedding anniversaries — will be at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, Lindell Boulevard and Newstead Avenue in the Central West End on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2:30 p.m.

Archbishop Raymond L. Burke will celebrate the Mass.
The archdiocese’s Office of Laity and Family Life is collecting the names of couples for a commemorative booklet and individual certificate to be given participants of the Mass. The Sept. 15 deadline allows for the printing of the booklets and certificates.

To make a reservation for the Golden and Silver Wedding Jubilee Mass, call (314) 792-7186 and leave your name and phone number. A representative of the office will call back to verify the information.
