The Review was given incorrect information in a Nov. 10 story on what benefits the Gateway Vincentian Volunteers receive during the yearlong service ministry program for young adults.

Volunteers receive free rent and meals, insurance coverage for the course of the program and a small personal allowance. An additional stipend is donated by participating agencies that work with the volunteers. That money goes toward overall operation expenses for the volunteer program.

Earl Wilson to be honored at Lwanga dinner

Earl Wilson Jr., founder of the St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation, will receive the Father Ed Feuerbacher Lifetime Achievement Award at the St. Charles Lwanga Center's 24th annual testimonial dinner next spring.

Archbishop’s appointments

Archbishop Raymond Burke has made the following appointments:

Rev. Peter M. Blake, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Crystal City, is granted a temporary leave from his pastoral responsibilities to attend to family concerns in Vermont, effective Oct. 31, 2006.

Rev. Richard J. Heman, associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Arnold, is named parochial administrator of Sacred Heart Parish, Crystal City, while continuing in the office of associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, with residence at Sacred Heart Rectory, effective Nov. 2, 2006.
