Archbishop's Gala

The fourth annual Archbishop's Gala to benefit the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation will be Thursday evening, April 25, at the Missouri Athletic Club in Downtown St. Louis. The event, which will begin at 6 p.m., raises funds to help provide needs-based scholarships for families seeking Catholic elementary education for their children. Outstanding teacher

Laura Gallaher, a second-grade teacher at St. Gabriel the Archangel School in south St. Louis, has been named a Peabody Energy Leader in Education for the current school year. Gallaher was chosen for her compassion and commitment to her students, providing a "caring, safe and fun environment, where each student blossoms and grows," according to Peabody Energy. Passion Play

The Washington Regional Passion Play Association will present its annual Passion Place Friday-Sunday, March 22-24, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Highway 100 and Clay Street in Washington.
