St. John Vianney High School students rallied to raise $7,200 in one day to help Marianist missions in Nairobi, Kenya. As a result of a challenge issued by the school principal, Tim Dilg, school president Mike Loyet and Dilg agreed to have their heads shaved following an all-school Mass April 15. Students at Chaminade College Preparatory School also raised fund for the elementary school run by the Marianists in a poverty-stricken area of Nairobi.

Msgr. Norb Ernst, pastor at St. Margaret Mary Alacqoue Parish, Father Terry Bogerding, associate pastor at Sacred Heart in Florissant, and Father Bill Wigand, pastor at Sts. Philip & James in River aux Vases and Our Lady Help of Christians in Weingarten, star in the Father Scheid Players’ production of “Arsenic and Old Lace.” The play will be performed at Incarnate Word Academy in Bel-Nor, April 4-6. A Four Seasons Fashion Show and Luncheon will be presented from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at St. Alphonsus "Rock Church" Parish, 1118 N. Grand Blvd. in north St. Louis.
