Newman Center returns Catholic presence to Maryville University

One of the newest Newman Centers in the St. Louis Archdiocese is at Maryville University, providing a Catholic presence at a school rich in Catholic tradition. The center will celebrate its first anniversary in January 2013. Father Richard Heman, a retired archdiocesan priest, celebrates Mass at 7:30 p.m. Sundays in the university's Charles M. Huttig Memorial Chapel and provides what he describes as a "peripatetic presence" on campus.
