St. John the Baptist School in south St. Louis needs $250,000 to open next year

St. John the Baptist School in south St. Louis is making an appeal to raise $250,000 to enable the elementary school to remain open for the 2013-14 year. Parish and school leaders are asking parishioners, alumni, school families, neighbors and friends to help. "We will be open through this school year," stressed principal Nancy Haselhorst. The money is needed to offset a projected budget deficit for the next school year.
