Ethicist confident that adult stem cells will prevail

A health care ethicist from the Center for Clinical Bioethics at Georgetown University is confident that in a relatively short period of time research on embryonic stem cells will be left behind because of advances in adult stem cell use and research. Jesuit Father Kevin T. FitzGerald, who visited St. Louis for a seminar Oct. 13, said, "I also think what will come behind it will make the issues we are wrestling with now look like kindergarten."
