Good Shepherd's good work recognized

Good Shepherd Children and Family Services has been serving the children of the St. Louis Archdiocese for over a century, in one form or another. Now the Catholic Charities federation agency headquartered in University City is being recognized as an Angel in Adoption by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. Representing Good Shepherd at the Sept. 11 ceremony honoring the Angels will adoption coordinator Mary Hoeynck, "our angel in adoption," said Teresa Hayner, Good Shepherd director of community services. "Mary has been here so long and done so much."
