Archbishop Robert J. Carlson led the traditional procession of Corpus Christi at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis where he carried a monstrance containing the Blessed Sacrament through the streets surrounding the d neighborhood.
Hundreds of the faithful gathered behind the procession, which was led by Knights of Columbus, Cathedral servers, seminarians, Archdiocesan Children's Choir and priests and deacons. The procession stopped at three altars in the Central West End for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament before completing the liturgy at the main altar of the cathedral.
