Teen forms faith-based ministry to help peers through life's struggles

Sid Hastings
John Schenk has the kind of attitude and energy anyone would like to see in a leader. He's upbeat and a detailed planner, a fast talker who always seems to be one step ahead of the conversation. He also started his first business, a sports memorabilia company, when he was in the fifth grade. Through that, he raised $80,000 for kidney research, all in honor of his sister, Monica, who had a kidney transplant when she was 3.
