Easter Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Robert J. Carlson at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. This year there were 839 people enrolled in the Rite of Christian Initiation. That included 209 adult catechumens (individuals who have never been baptized); 51 child catechumens; 528 adult candidates (people baptized in another Christian faith or baptized but uncatechized Catholics); and 51 child candidates. They completed their journey into the Church at the Easter Vigil, April 7.
