20 Catholic school students earn spot in Missouri Geographic Bee

Twenty students at area Catholic schools will compete in the Missouri Geographic Bee on Friday, March 30, on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia. The winner will receive $100, a "Complete National Geographic" on DVD and a trip to Washington, D.C., to compete in the national finals of the National Geographic Bee May 22-24 at the National Geographic Society headquarters. The national champion will receive a $25,000 college scholarship, a lifetime membership in the National Geographic Society and an all-expense paid trip, with one parent or guardian, to the Galapagos Islands.
