The 35th annual St. Louis archdiocesan Respect Life Convention will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, at the St. Charles Convention Center. This year’s theme is “A World for Life.”

The convention will begin with Mass at 9:30 a.m. and will include numerous exhibits and four workshops: Respecting Life Around the World; Churches Working Together for Life; Race and the Abortion Industry; and As For Me and My House: Fighting Pornography. The workshops are free.

Anyone interested in attending Race and the Abortion Industry is advised to go online to stlrespectlife.org to view the documentary “Maafa 21” prior to attending the workshop.

The convention will include a luncheon and keynote speaker, both ticketed events. The speaker, author Immaculée Ilibagiza, will talk about her transformative experiences during the horrific Rwandan genocide of 1994.
