Abp. Carlson to receive first-ever interfaith leadership award

Despite an economic downturn and stretched time and resources, the Archdiocese of St. Louis remains committed to its relationship with the interfaith community in St. Louis. And that's exactly why Archbishop Robert J. Carlson was chosen to receive the inaugural Interfaith St. Louis Leadership Award by the Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls at its annual dinner Sept. 22. The award is being presented by merit, said John Knoll, interim executive director of Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls, meaning it won't necessarily be awarded to a new individual every year.
