A member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Most Sacred Heart Parish in Eureka explained what happened when members handed out Christmas gifts last year. His account follows:
I wish you could have been there to see their faces. On a very cold Monday night we handed out the Christmas giving tree gifts you donated to the elderly and families in need.
