Love of the Eucharist and the community of worship that marks the Church drew hundreds of Catholics to the Eucharistic Congress Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. "The Eucharist is what brought me to the Church," said Taylor Bockhorst, who attended the opening Benediction June 24 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis in the Central West End, celebrated by Archbishop George Lucas of Omaha. Bockhorst, a member of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in South St. Louis, said, "Archbishop Lucas talked about how Catholics are so drawn to the Eucharist."
