Fathers make great strides through Fatherhood Initiative

As an alcoholic, he enjoyed the high that came from drinking, but he also saw how it was affecting his life. Out of a job as a steelworker and going through a divorce, Towns turned to Catholic Family Services' Fatherhood Initiative to seek help. He learned about the program through an organization at St. Louis Community College-Forest Park, where he is studying culinary arts. "I needed that structure in my life," said Towns. "The values they put down keep me busy."
