St. Dominic Savio family making mission full time

Andy Kuhnert taught children at San Marcos School outside Punta Gorda, Belize, during a mission trip there last year with members of his parish, St. Dominic Savio in Affton. Andy and Julie Kuhnert and their five children are planning to depart for Belize this summer to do mission work there for a year.

There comes a time when God calls a person to do something extraordinary in life. For the Kuhnert family of St. Dominic Savio Parish in Affton, that call means packing up their family of seven and moving to Central America to serve others who are in need. Andy and Julie Kuhnert and their five children — Emily, 11, Sarah, 9, Lillian, 7, Adam, 3, and Charlie, 19 months — will be heading to Belize this summer to spend a year doing mission work in and around the town of Punta Gorda.
