Catholic schools score big in Nat’l History Day in Missouri regionals

Once again, the overwhelming majority of winning entries in the regional competition junior division of National History Day in Missouri are students in Catholic schools in the St. Louis Archdiocese. Overall, 23 of the 28 winning entries were from Catholic schools — Holy Infant in Ballwin, which had 26 student winners in group and individual entries; St. Margaret of Scotland and St. Raphael the Archangel schools, both in South St. Louis; and Our Lady School in Festus. In the senior division, St. Elizabeth Academy had the only winning entry from a Catholic school.
