Human trafficking victims, others testify at Missouri House committee hearing

After running away from her home in Illinois at age 13, Margaret Howard was kidnapped by a human trafficker/pimp from Cape Girardeau, Mo. She told the Review she was held for five days against her will. "During that time I was raped repeatedly. I was 13. I had no idea money was being exchanged. After my escape I went into denial and developed a trauma disorder. Today, in my work I am standing up for all children who are victims of commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking."
