Catholic Charities here lays off 12 employees

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friend Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis has eliminated the positions of 12 employees — six full time and six part time — at four of its community outreach centers. St. Jane, Father Tolton, Midtown and Southside Centers will remain open, said Catholic Charities president Brian O'Malley. "The cuts were in areas where the site directors felt we had duplication and could continue the programs without reducing services too much. We hope to minimize any effect this may have on our many community programs."
