The proposals and recommendations that have come out of the Mission Advancement Initiative for Catholic Schools will be finalized in coming weeks. But for some schools, these proposals are already business as usual, with very positive results. Holy Child School in Arnold serves three parishes: Immaculate Conception and St. David in Arnold and nearby St. John in Imperial. The enrollment this year is 241 students, including 86 in the preschool. A year and a half ago, there were 42 children in preschool and 149 in K-8, said principal Robert Cowell.
