Ursulines mark anniversary of community’s foundation

The Ursuline Sisters worldwide recently marked the 475th anniversary of the community's foundation.
On Nov. 25, 1535, the community's foundress, St. Angela Merici, gathered 28 young women in Bresica, Italy, to sign their names in a book that would be the beginning of the Company of St. Ursula, a religious order of women known today as the Ursuline Sisters.
