Missouri Catholic Conference supports state tax credits

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friendTax credits granted by the state of Missouri should advance the common good and give special consideration to Missouri's most vulnerable citizens, according to the Missouri Catholic Conference (MCC). The public policy agency of the state's bishops submitted comments Oct. 28 to a state commission reviewing Missouri's existing tax credits. The commission consists of 25 business, community and legislative leaders appointed by Gov. Jay Nixon this summer to evaluate whether Missouri's current tax credits are good investments for the state.
