'Good Shepherd' keeps children and families connected despite challenging times

Good Shepherd Children and Family Services foster care specialist Meaghan Westhus talked with SueAnn Greco (left) and Luanne Stamp (right) as the two volunteers began to help organize individual case files at the offices in University City. The social workers at Good Shepherd do not have any secretarial staff, and paperwork must be filed on a weekly basis to meet state standards. Good Shepherd relies heavily on trained volunteers to help them as they help children in need. Westhus attends St. Francis Xavier “College” Church in Midtown St. Louis while Greco and Stamp are parishioners at Our Lady of Lourdes in University City.
