SANTIAGO, Chile — Father Alejandro Castillo, the vicar general of the Diocese of Copiapo, Chile, recently remarked that the rescue of the 33 miners from the San Jose mine is a sign that "after the cross comes the Resurrection." "The Resurrection is present after a prolonged cross," Father Castillo told CNA last week, speaking in place of Bishop Gaspar Quintana. The bishop was busy meeting with miners at the Copiapo Hospital.
