Question:

What does the Church teach about unmarried couples living together?

Fr. Mayo's answer:

Cohabitation, or living together, is the relationship between a man and a woman who live in the same household and are sexually active. The U.S. Census Bureau reported last month that the number of cohabiting couples climbed last year from 6.7 million in 2009 to 7.5 million in 2010.
