Food is a favorite topic of many gatherings. Various magazines, TV shows and other media that focus on food have thrived in recent years. The Institute for Theological Encounter with Science and Technology (ITEST) took a more in-depth approach to the topic Sept. 25 at a conference on how food is grown, produced and distributed — modified, organic, bio-engineered or natural.
