School Sisters of Notre Dame to consolidate provinces, continue to serve in St. Louis

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friendThe School Sisters of Notre Dame are reconfiguring four provinces — including the St. Louis Province — into one new province, to be called the Central Pacific Province. The sisters of the current provinces in St. Louis, Mankato, Minn., Dallas and Milwaukee will consolidate into one province, effective Sunday, June 12, 2011, the feast of Pentecost. The name "Central Pacific Province" is a reference to the central U.S. geographic location of the current campuses, the SSND ministries in the western and Pacific coast areas, and the sisters in Japan and Guam.
