A timline of the Polish apostolate in the Archdiocese of St. Louis

May 23, 1880 — St. Stanislaus Kostka established as a predominantly Polish parish. Just northwest of Downtown St. Louis at 1413 N. Twentieth Street, it was originally administered by the Franciscans and was the mother church for three other Polish parishes.
Aug. 18, 1892 — New church dedicated.
1927 — Fierce fire due to electric wiring causes $60,000 in damages.
