Sister Carol then began ministering to the sisters at Villa Gesu and working in a doctor's office in St. Louis.
From 1994-99, she ministered to the sisters at Villa Gesu and the motherhouse doing foot care. When Villa Gesu closed in 1999, she began a 10-year period of ministering as one of the SSND community care coordinators for the sisters at Anna House-The Sarah Community, the current retirement center, in Bridgeton.
Survivors include: three sisters, Nancy Mittendorf of Union, Sharon Boedges of Pacific and Lisa Holdmeier of Washington; eight brothers, Terry, Garry, Steve, Dennis, Christopher and Kenny Sullentrup, all of Washington, and Richard Sullentrup of St. James, Mo., and Mark Sullentrup of Linn, Mo.
