Buy some extra school supplies and help a needy child

Students in an impoverished area of Honduras welcomed the gift of school supplies they received through the efforts of the Washington Overseas Medical Mission this spring. Many children here and abroad are in need of basic supplies like pencils, paper and crayons.
Students in an impoverished area of Honduras welcomed the gift of school supplies they received through the efforts of the Washington Overseas Medical Mission this spring. Many children here and abroad are in need of basic supplies like pencils, paper and crayons.

Brigid Reid of St. Francis Borgia Parish in Washington has a simple request for parents of school children: Uno Más Para Los Niños.   

That's Spanish for "One More for the Children," Reid's request for families buying school supplies to pick up an extra item or more for children unable to pay for their own.
